Recognizing that the Trent Nature Areas & Wildlife Sanctuary is vital to a healthy local community, the Brealey Drive Animal Clinic recently made a gift to this area through one of its community fundraisers.

The clinic supports local charities through proceeds from its ongoing fundraising initiatives; hosting nail-clipping nights for pets, the clinic offers services for free, welcoming optional donations from clients. The clinic generously donated the proceeds from their recent campaign to Trent University.

The clinic supported Trent University's oldest and largest nature area, which offers an extensive trail system used by the wider community including leashed pets.

“We are so grateful to clinic owner Dr. Sandra Smith for supporting an on-campus nature area that’s treasured by the entire community,” says Sherry Booth ’98, associate vice president Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement. “Community support – large and small – is truly helping the University create momentous change in the world.”
