TRACKS: Empowering Youth through Indigenous Knowledge and Western Science

At Trent University, TRACKS (Trent Aboriginal Cultural Knowledge and Science) Youth program is dedicated to fostering the next generation of environmental leaders by providing youth with land-based programming that brings together Indigenous Knowledge and western science.

While honouring their diverse identities and backgrounds, we help them develop the skills, confidence, and cultural understanding needed to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, empowering them to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Since its inception in 2010, TRACKS has reached more than 52,000 youth, inspiring them to see their own cultures and knowledge systems reflected in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).

With your support, we can continue to provide transformative experiences that empower youth to lead change and become environmental trailblazers.
