Trent Giving Day April 2, 2025

The City of Peterborough has declared a state of emergency due to the severe ice storm that occurred over the weekend. To allow for continued clean-up and power restoration for our staff and community, we will be delaying Trent Giving Day from April 2 to April 9.

On Trent Day, we mark the founding of Trent University, an institution profoundly anchored in philanthropy, with Trent Giving Day — a day dedicated to supporting the next generation of students through the Trent Fund.

Milena is one of those students. Growing up, she often listened to her mother talk about how her days as a Trent student were some of the best of her life.

Now a Trent student herself, pursuing her dreams of becoming a psychotherapist, Milena is grateful for the on-campus job funded by the Trent Fund. This job provides employers invested in her success, a flexible work schedule (that makes time for exams), and a 'true campus connection'.

This Trent Giving Day, we are calling the bold thinkers, visionary leaders, and community builders like you to support students like Milena.

Your gift to the Trent Fund will help a student thrive — providing scholarships, on-campus employment, and urgent support to help them reach their full potential.

Double your impact! In celebration of Trent’s 60th anniversary, Karen and Bill Morrison '86 (Champlain College) will match the first $5,000 in gifts, dollar for dollar.

Give Now

Will you be one of our 25 new monthly donors to support students through this flexible fund?

Your generosity can make a meaningful, easy, and affordable difference in the lives of students. Celebrate Trent’s 60th, and your Trent connection, with a gift to the Trent Fund, supporting Canada’s future leaders.

Together, we can turn possibility into something momentous.
